Benefits of Tree Planting
People plant trees for different reasons. Some plant trees to enhance the aesthetic value while others for shades where they can relax. Read this article for more advantages of planting trees.
The first benefit is that tree planting helps greatly in soil reinforcement. Besides this, trees will maintain the soil moisture as well as improve its fertility. All these processes occur in a cycle which begins with the leaves falling down from the trees and on the soil surface the curb the moisture that could rather be heated into the atmosphere and at this point the leaves will start rotting to manure. At this point there will be raised microorganism activities causing aeration.
Where the trees have been planted, there are very minimal cases of soil removal in the name of soil erosion. Soil erosion can be as a result of the excess wind blowing or even the heavy drops of rain falling on the ground surface. Soil erosion will occur by the splashes caused by the big drops of water. Wind also removes the soil by blowing it away strongly leaving the ground more bear. Roots of trees enhances soil compatibility which works against occurrence of soil erosion.
Contamination of the water will not occur where the trees have been planted. It is evident that nitrogen and the phosphorous chemicals which happen to be poisonous are contained in water from the storms. Where the trees are not present, this water will find its way to water sources hence contaminating it. Where the aquatic animals are present, they can die due to poisoned by this chemicals. By the help of the trees, the stormy water goes into the ground avoiding the water sources.
Tree planting is also essential in cooling down the streets which could have otherwise been greatly affected by global warming. Where the trees are planted, the temperature becomes cooler as they absorb the excess carbon gases from the air. Using the asphalt highways instead of trees to prevent excess warming may not be very effective and lead to global warming which will have a negative impact on the millions of people occupying the cities. The many and high buildings in the cities with no trees greatly increases the chances for global warming.
There will be a normal air conditioning in a case where you have planted trees in your home. Planting trees in strategic positions saves you the expense of fixing air conditioners in your building as they are able to regulate the air in a very natural way. As if this is not the only benefit, they will curb the unwanted gases from the air for example the carbon gases.
